Specially designed for soft materials. Hard materials such as PE, XLPE, HDPE or rigid rubbers may be possible depending on the characteristics of the sample. To be sure, send samples to iiM AG for evaluation.

Device details

  • The device complies with IEC 60811 -501, -507 (heat elongation test, tensile test)
  • Samples are taken from the inner side of the sheath and the insulator
  • All channeling and/or conductive layers are removed
  • Developed to cut samples according to IEC 60811 with a thickness between 0.8 and 2.0 mm (0.04″–0.08″)
